CLOG
A book series which explores, from multiple viewpoints and through a variety of means, a single subject particularly relevant to now.

A chemist turned editor and self-taught designer, I've spent nearly 10 years building enterprise-scale scientific research software and consumer apps that put people first. I care deeply about the craft of making things: how they work, how they feel, and what they mean to the people who use them.
I'm currently head of Design and Research at CAS, where I lead a multi-disciplinary team building tools that help scientists and researchers access the world's scientific knowledge. Before that, I designed the full product experience for Daybase, a coworking startup that made it to the pages of the New York Times.
I coach and mentor aspiring designers, volunteer for humanitarian and community projects, and advocate and fundraise for Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF), an organization dedicated to improving the lives of those with type 1 diabetes.
Outside of work, you'll find me playing volleyball, cycling, lifting weights, playing chess, cooking, reading, designing physical spaces and furniture, or spending time with my cat, Moose.
